Code of practice for learning analytics

A link from a JISC conference (that I will blog about in a minute!): a free booklet summarising legal and ethical issues around learning analytics, published last November. They are in the process of drafting an actual code of practice (there should be a consultation period on it shortly).
Sclater, N. (2014)  Code of practice for learning analytics: A literature review of the ethical and legal issues.JISC. http://repository.jisc.ac.uk/5661/1/Learning_Analytics_A-_Literature_Review.pdf

In a blog post from January, Sclater outlines a taxonomy of the legal and ethical issues: http://analytics.jiscinvolve.org/wp/2015/01/30/a-taxonomy-of-the-ethical-and-legal-issues-of-learning-analytics-v0-1/

There is a Storify of the session on this topic at JISC's digifest15 on 9 March
